Hatch DAO aims to be the universal repository for yield farmers, developers, and researchers to experiment with various decentralized consensus protocols within our sandbox. Users can stake, farm, vote, or create a proposal with the $HATCH token, and are rewarded for doing so. Utilizing the $HATCH token, individuals will be able to vote on or create proposals that will be used to determine the future of the project. DMme is a messaging application that uses the Ethereum blockchain.

The main goal for DMme is to allow users to communicate securely, protecting both their identity and data, though “military grade end-to-end encryption."

The project was launched in January 2020 and is available in Google Play. Its iOS version was expected in April 2020, but hadn’t materialized by the end of the year.

There is little information available about when it might be available, while DMme’s official website does not seem to work.

The main name behind DMme is Twitter user CryptoMocho. They are responsible for giving updates on the project — and their messages are regularly retweeted by DMme’s official account.

The rest of the team known to the public also uses aliases. Gremlins and Scar69 are in charge of marketing, Biologik is an advisor, Daywalker_ is a developer, while the source code was produced by a private development company.

CryptoMocho has 129,000 followers on Twitter, but the DMme.app official account has just over 1,000 followers. The official account last posted in August 2020, giving no further updates about the project other than a video showing a “developer update.” In mid-July, a “sneak peak” of what the app would look like was released, containing four screenshots.

DMme is described as a messaging app that uses military encryption technology to protect user information.

While files and messages are stored on WhatsApp or Telegram servers, DMme is said to store all data in the user’s phone. To join the app, no phone number has to be shared and only an email address is needed. DMme encourages users to create a new email address when registering.

Since there has been no whitepaper published, and the code is not open source, there is very little information about the technicalities of the project. It is said to use AES-256 encryption, which is the Advanced Encryption Standard with a 256-bit key size.

DMme is an ERC-20 token using Ethereum’s blockchain. There are a couple of ERC-20 tokens that provide privacy features such as Status and Orchid.

However, unlike DMme, these projects are open source and available for audit. Nevertheless, the idea is that the DMme token will be used to pay for subscriptions that allow the team to update the app and develop new features. The project is self-funded and, according to the DMme team, this ensures executives are invested in its success.

There are just over six million coins in circulation, while the team is holding on to 10 million. According to the DMME Token Tracker, there were 270 DMME holders by the end of 2020, while a total of 60 million coins will be issued.

The DMme team is said to be planning to build an ecosystem around the app, which will include a peer-to-peer service where DMME would be used as a payment method. It is also said that DMme holders will be paid a monthly dividend for holding DMME tokens.

The official DMme.app Twitter account has a pinned tweet dated August 4, 2020, stating that anyone holding 100,000 DMME in their wallet would earn a share of 333,000 DMME on the 10th of each month as long as they hold DMME for a minimum of 20 days.
