Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (Persian: دانشگاه علوم پزشکی و خدمات بهداشتی-درمانی شهيد بهشتی‎, Danushgah-e 'lum-e Pezeshki-ye vâ Xedâmat-e Behedashti - Dârmani-ye Shihid Beheshti) is one of the three medical universities in Tehran, the capital of Iran. It began in 1961 with the establishment of the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. Following the merging of some of the treatment and educational units and organizations affiliated to the then Ministry of Health and “Melli University” (National University) in 1986, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences began its activities independently.

In addition to educating students and research, the university is responsible for providing health for five million citizens who live in the northern and eastern parts of Tehran, and some of the cities near the capital.

The university is government funded. Its administration is the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, the University Council, and eight Vice -Chancellors in international, academic and education, research, health, treatment, food and drugs, logistics, and students affairs.

The SBUMS is the second largest medical university in Iran, and educates 12500 students in medicine and allied medical sciences.

The Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology (WFVZ) is a charitable institution based in Camarillo, California, United States.

It hosts a natural history collection specializing in eggs and nests of birds. The collection comprises ~225,000 sets of bird eggs representing approximately 4,000 species, including all orders of extant birds; ~20,000 nests; and more than 56,000 bird study skins from around the world. The Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation, is both a natural history collection specializing in eggs and nests of birds from around the world, and a research and education institution dedicated to bird conservation. The Foundation's collections are among the largest in the world, and its mission is to contribute to the conservation of the world’s wild bird species through the accessibility of the collections and their data to researchers, educators, students, and the public. The WFVZ also contributes to bird conservation through bird education programs for scientific professionals and the public, and field- and collections-based bird conservation research projects and publications. The WFVZ's collections have contributed to multiple scientific fields (e.g., conservation, ecology, taxonomy, and toxicology). The Foundation’s egg sets have also figured prominently in studies of eggshell thinning due to contaminants (e.g., DDT and heavy metals).

It publishes a journal, the Proceedings of the Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology (ISSN 0511-7550).

Visitors can take guided tours of the collections on the last Friday of every month at 3pm, except in May, November, and December. Visitors must call in advance to be in the list. There are also group tours.

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland is a learned society and registered charity based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was founded by, Thomas Haining Gillespie, in 1909. In 1913, Edinburgh Town Council bought a large plot of land on Corstorphine Hill for the society - this later opened to the public as Edinburgh Zoo. The Society received its Royal Charter in 1913. Valley City State University (VCSU) is a public university in Valley City, North Dakota. It is part of the North Dakota University System. Founded in 1890 as Valley City State Normal School, a two-year teachers' college, it was authorized to confer bachelor's degrees in 1921 and changed its name to Valley City State Teachers College. With an expansion in programs outside teacher education after World War II, it became Valley City State College in 1963. In 1986, it was renamed State University of North Dakota-Valley City and a year later received its current name.

VCSU offers over 80 undergraduate programs and an online Master of Education degree program. In 2015, VCSU graduated 302 students, the largest class in its 125-year history.
