The Journal of Urban Health is a bimonthly peer-reviewed public health journal covering epidemiology and public health in urban areas. It was established in 1851 as the Transactions of the New York Academy of Medicine, and was renamed the Bulletin of the New York Academy of Medicine in 1925. It obtained its current name in 1998. Its parent organization is the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM). The journal is published by Springer Science+Business Media along with NYAM. The International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009) was a year-long celebration of astronomy that took place in 2009 to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the first recorded astronomical observations with a telescope by Galileo Galilei and the publication of Johannes Kepler's Astronomia nova in the 17th century. The Year was declared by the 62nd General Assembly of the United Nations. A global scheme, laid out by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), was also endorsed by UNESCO, the UN body responsible for educational, scientific, and cultural matters.

The IAU coordinated the International Year of Astronomy in 2009. This initiative was an opportunity for the citizens of Earth to gain a deeper insight into astronomy's role in enriching all human cultures. Moreover, served as a platform for informing the public about the latest astronomical discoveries while emphasizing the essential role of astronomy in science education. Mathematics developed at a relatively slow pace until the Renaissance, when mathematical innovations interacting with new scientific discoveries led to a rapid increase in the rate of mathematical discovery that has continued to the present day.

Lancaster University Boat Club (LUBC) is the rowing club of Lancaster University. Loyola University Chicago (Loyola or LUC) is a private Jesuit research university in Chicago, Illinois. Master of Medicine (MMed) is a postgraduate Professional clinical degree awarded by medical schools to physicians following a period of instruction, supervised clinical rotations and examination. The Belleville Learning Center, previously known as Lindenwood University–Belleville and Lindenwood Belleville, is a satellite campus of Lindenwood University, offering evening postgraduate and undergraduate classes for about 300 students. Belleville Learning Center is located in Belleville, Illinois, and occupies the former campus of Belleville West High School. The Master of Sacred Music (MSM or SMM) degree is a two to five-year post-baccalaureate degree that combines academic and musical studies. The closure of graduate programs in organ performance across America has made the MSM increasingly the de facto degree for advanced studies in church music; MSM graduates who wish to continue their studies have the option of academic (Ph.D. or Th.D.) or applied (DMA) tracks.
