General Pico is a city located in the northeast of La Pampa Province, Argentina. It is located at 143 m (469 ft) above sea level and inside the region of the Pampa Húmeda Llana (Flat-Humid Pampas). It has a surface area of 2,555 km2 (986 sq mi).

With a population of 53,352 (2001 census [INDEC]) it is the second-largest city in the province after the provincial capital Santa Rosa, and it is the capital of the department of Maracó. The region is heavily agricultural, producing meat that is renowned around the world, and most of the grain consumed in the country.

The crossing between the west and south railroads was a determinant point in the placing of this city, founded on November 11 by Eduardo Chapeaurouge. It is named after General Eduardo Gustavo Pico, who was governor of La Pampa Province for three consecutive periods (1891-1899).

Moomba (also known as the Moomba Festival) is held annually in Melbourne, Australia. Run by the City of Melbourne, it is Australia's largest free community festival. The Melburnian tradition is celebrated over four days, incorporating the Labour Day long weekend, from Friday to the second Monday in March. Ilford is a large town in east London, England in the London Borough of Redbridge. Identified as a metropolitan centre in the London Plan, Ilford is classed as a significant commercial and retail centre for the wider south east of England. Doomadgee is a town and a locality in the Aboriginal Shire of Doomadgee, Queensland, Australia. It is a mostly Indigenous community, situated about 140 kilometres (87 mi) from the Northern Territory border, and 93 kilometres (58 mi) west of Burketown.

The settlement began with the establishment of the Doomadgee Mission in 1933, which relocated from Bayley Point to Nicholson River in 1936.
