Anegada is the northernmost of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), a group of islands that form part of the archipelago of the Virgin Islands. Mossel Bay (Afrikaans: Mosselbaai) is a harbour town of about 99,319 people on the Southern Cape (or Garden Route) of South Africa. It is an important tourism and farming region of the Western Cape Province. Mossel Bay lies 400 kilometres east of the country's seat of parliament, Cape Town (which is also the capital city of the Western Cape), and 400 km west of Gqeberha, the largest city in the Eastern Cape. Nachingwea is a district in the Lindi Region of Tanzania. The district is bordered to the north by the Ruangwa District, to the east by the Lindi Rural District, to the south-east by the Mtwara Region, and to the south-west by the Ruvuma Region.

Ningerum is a small town on the Kiunga-Tabubil Highway, about equidistant between the two centres of Kiunga and Tabubil. Ningerum is the seat of the Ningerum Rural LLG, which was the second most populous LLG in the North Fly District of the Western Province of Papua New Guinea during the 2000 census. Ngaoundéré, or N'Gaoundéré, is the capital of the Adamawa Region of Cameroon. It had a population of 152,700 at the 2005 census. According to the film Les Mairuuwas – Maitre de l'eau produced by the University of Tromsø, the population has rapidly risen to 1,000,000 (as of October 2016) owing to mass immigration from the Central African Republic and the perceived danger from Boko Haram in northern Cameroon.

Atsugi (厚木市, Atsugi-shi) is a city located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 June 2021, the city had an estimated population of 223,960 and a population density of 2400 persons per km². The total area of the city is 93.83 square kilometres (36.23 sq mi). While the name "Atsugi" is often associated with the United States Navy base named Naval Air Facility Atsugi, the base is actually not in Atsugi, but straddles the border between the nearby cities of Ayase and Yamato.

The development of a trail linking Manang to the Annapurna Conservation Area was finished in February 2011 and has brought many benefits to the villagers and the area.

Besides catering to trekkers, there is some agriculture and herding of yaks. There is a medical centre, which specializes in high-altitude sickness.

Napuka, or Pukaroa, is a small coral atoll in the Disappointment Islands, in the northeastern part of the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia. It is located only 15 km to the southeast of Tepoto Nord, its nearest neighbor, forming a small group. These two atolls are quite isolated, the nearest land being Fangatau Atoll 170 km to the south.

Napuka Atoll is 10.5 km long and about 4 km wide. Its reef is quite broad, completely enclosing the lagoon. The total dry land area of the thirty islands on Napuka's reef is 8 km2. The surface of the lagoon is 18 km2.

Moruya is a town located on the far south coast of New South Wales, Australia, situated on the Moruya River. The Princes Highway runs through the town that is approximately 305 kilometres (190 mi) south of Sydney and 175 kilometres (109 mi) from Canberra. At the 2016 census, Moruya had a population of 3982. Its built up area had a population of 2,525. The town relies predominantly on agriculture, aquaculture, and tourism. Motueka is a town in the South Island of New Zealand, close to the mouth of the Motueka River on the western shore of Tasman Bay / Te Tai-o-Aorere. It is the second largest in the Tasman Region, with a population of 8,420 as of June 2020.

The surrounding district has a number of apple, pear and kiwifruit orchards, as well as growing a variety of specialised crops such as hops. The area formerly served as the main centre of tobacco growing in New Zealand. A number of small vineyards have also been developed.

Nearby beaches (such as Kaiteriteri and Marahau) are very popular with holidaymakers, and the area around Motueka has one of the country's highest annual sunshine-hour indices.

Nabire is a town in the Indonesian province of Papua, at the western end of New Guinea. The town is the administrative seat of the Nabire Regency. It is served by Nabire Airport.

Muccan or Muccan Station is a pastoral lease and cattle station that once operated as a sheep station, located approximately 68 kilometres (42 mi) north east of Marble Bar and 155 kilometres (96 mi) south east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Kookenyia Creek and the De Grey River run through the property. The country is gently undulating with large areas of spinifex.

The lease was initially taken up by Messrs. Grant, Anderson and Edgar, who appointed Christopher Coppin as manager to pioneer the property in 1879. After seven years at Muccan Coppin left and took up the neighbouring lease and founded Yarrie Station.

Some time later the Darlot brothers acquired the 387,000-acre (156,613 ha) property, which they exchanged with Ball and Corbett for the Warrawagine country that the pair held.

By 1897 the property was owned by the Ball brothers and Michael Corbett with at least 5,000 sheep being run at the station. The partnership was dissolved in 1900, leaving Corbett and one of the Ball brothers in charge. By 1906 approximately 17,000 sheep were shorn at Muccan. followed by 13,005 in 1908.

In 1912 Corbett was the sole proprietor at Muccan. Later the same year 19,000 sheep were shorn producing 330 bales of wool.

Corbett was in a partnership with Charles Holthouse in 1913 when the property occupied an area of 200,000 acres (80,937 ha) and was stocked with approximately 20,000 sheep. In 1914 about 18,000 sheep produced 300 bales.

Corbett died in 1923, and Holthouse became the sole owner of Muccan. Holthouse died in 1945 leaving the property to his wife and family.

Muccan has been run in conjunction with Yarrie Station since about 1990 by the Coppin family.
