Spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) is the strength ratio of the fundamental signal to the strongest spurious signal in the output. Itis also defined as a measure used to specify analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters (ADCs and DACs, respectively) and radio receivers.

SFDR is defined as the ratio of the RMS value of the carrier wave (maximum signal component) at the input of the ADC or output of DAC to the RMS value of the next largest noise or harmonic distortion component (which is referred to as “spurious” or a “spur”) at its output. SFDR is usually measured in dBc (i.e. with respect to the carrier signal amplitude) or in dBFS (i.e. with respect to the ADC's full-scale range). Depending on the test condition, SFDR is observed within a pre-defined frequency window or from DC up to Nyquist frequency of the converter (ADC or DAC)

In case of a radio receiver application, the definition is slightly different. The reference is the minimum detectable signal level at the input of a receiver, which can be calculated through a knowledge of the noise figure and the input signal bandwidth of the receiver or the system. The difference between this value and the input level which will produce distortion products equal to the minimum detectable signal referred to the input of the system is the SFDR of the system. However, this procedure is mainly reliable for ADCs. In RF systems where output spurious signals are nonlinear function of input power, more precise measurement is required to take into account this non-linearity in power.

D R f ( d B ) = 2 3 ( P 3 − N 0 ) {\displaystyle DR_{f}(dB)={\tfrac {2}{3}}(P_{3}-N_{0})}

Where P 3 {\displaystyle P_{3}} is the third-order intercept point and N 0 {\displaystyle N_{0}} is the noise floor of the component, expressed in dB or dBm.

The Basin Music Festival is held in March each year in the small fringe suburb/village of The Basin at the foot of Mount Dandenong, on the eastern outskirts of Melbourne, Australia.

Growing out of the music found in the community, the non-profit, volunteer-run festival presents an eclectic collection of musical styles, including but not limited to rock, jazz, blues, folk, country and world music. The musical styles are decided by the interests and talents found throughout the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne and the Dandenong Ranges.

In addition to the music performed in seven indoor venues (only two of which require paid admission) and The Basin Pavilion (a free outdoor stage in the park), the festival includes market stalls and food stalls, exhibitions and displays by community groups and organisations (such as the local Scouts and fire brigade), with activities for children and a very laid-back country village atmosphere.

The Southern Gospel Music Association (SGMA) is a non-profit corporation formed as an association of southern gospel music singers, songwriters, fans, and industry workers. Membership is acquired and maintained through payment of annual dues. The SGMA was formed in 1994, and states that its primary goal is "to preserve, protect and promote Southern Gospel Music, its history and heritage".

The Southern Gospel Music Association operates the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame in Pigeon Forge, a popular Tennessee tourist town, and also hosts the Southern Gospel Music Awards. The Hall of Fame and Museum was opened at the Dollywood theme park in 1999.

Leadership of the SGMA is vested in a 23-member board of directors. The SGMA is responsible for the nomination, selection, and induction into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

Temperate broadleaf and mixed forest is a temperate climate terrestrial habitat type defined by the World Wide Fund for Nature, with broadleaf tree ecoregions, and with conifer and broadleaf tree mixed coniferous forest ecoregions.

These forests are richest and most distinctive in central China and eastern North America, with some other globally distinctive ecoregions in the Caucasus, the Himalayas, Southern Europe, Australasia, Southwestern South America and the Russian Far East.

The School for Poetic Computation (SFPC) is a hybrid of a school, residency and research group that was founded in 2013 in New York. A small group of students and faculty work closely to explore the intersections of code, art, hardware and theory—focusing especially on artistic intervention. Rather than formal classes, the students at the school focus on creative projects. The school's motto is "more poems, less demos."

The school was co-founded by Zachary Lieberman, Taeyoon Choi, Amit Pitaru, and Jen Lowe. In the summer of 2020, amidst discussions about how the administrators had handled issues related to Black Lives Matter, the school transitioned to a more collective organization. Lieberman publicly stepped down, and the other members of the former administration team wrote a post that was published from Choi's Medium account. SFPC is now run by the "SFPC Stewards," who are committed to running a "beautiful school" centering BIPOC, disabled, and queer makers.
