Stoughton is a city in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. It straddles the Yahara River about 20 miles southeast of the state capital, Madison. Stoughton is part of the Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 12,611.

Known for its Norwegian heritage, Stoughton hosts a citywide celebration of Syttende Mai, the Norwegian constitution day. Part of the city's celebration of its Norwegian heritage is the Stoughton Norwegian Dancers dance group, sponsored by Stoughton High School, as well as Norwegian flags and memorabilia displayed throughout the town.

Stroudsburg Area School District is a large, suburban/rural public school district located in the Poconos of northeast Pennsylvania. The headquarters are located on West Main Street in the Borough of Stroudsburg in Monroe County. Stroudsburg Area School District encompasses approximately 73 square miles (190 km2). According to 2000 federal census data, it served a resident population of 30,713. By 2010, the district's population increased to 36,502 people, by 2015 it had declined to 35,787. In 2009, the district residents' per capita income was $22,137, while the median family income was $56,546. In the Commonwealth, the median family income was $49,501 and the United States median family income was $49,445, in 2010. The district is one of the 500 public school districts of Pennsylvania.

Rochelle Township High School, commonly referred to as RTHS, is a secondary school located in Rochelle, Illinois. RTHS is the only school operated by Rochelle Township High School District 212. The district includes portions of Ogle, Lee, and DeKalb counties. Approximately one-half of the students come from Rochelle Community Consolidated District 231, which includes the middle school and elementary schools from Rochelle proper. The remaining student population comes from a variety of other elementary school districts in the area.

This is a list of schools (at the elementary and secondary level) that are located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The three main school divisions encompassing the city are the Regina Board of Education (also known as the Regina public school board; the largest school division in the province), Regina Catholic Schools, the Roman Catholic school board, and the Conseil des Écoles Fransaskoises - also known as CÉF, the provincial Francophone school division. The public system has approximately 21,000 students enrolled across the city; the Catholic board has an enrolment number of approximately 10,000 students; and CÉF has about 500 students in this city. There are also a number of independent schools located in Regina, including Luther College High School and Regina Christian School.

Historically, the publicly funded separate schools were exclusively for the children of Catholic and Francophone families, who were, by way of ensuring continued support for the separate school system and also as a matter of Catholic doctrine, discouraged from enrolling in the public schools, which were officially secular but which originally maintained a degree of de facto Protestant religious education. The Republics of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics or the Union Republics (Russian: Сою́зные Респу́блики, tr. Soyúznye Respúbliki) were ethnically based administrative units of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). The Soviet Union was created by the treaty between the soviet socialist republics of Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, and the Transcaucasian Federation, by which they became its constituent republics. For most of its history, the USSR was a highly centralized state despite its nominal structure as a federation of republics; the decentralization reforms during the era of Perestroika ("Restructuring") and Glasnost ("Openness") conducted by Mikhail Gorbachev are cited as one of the factors which led to the dissolution of the USSR in 1991.
