The United States Air Force Special Operations School (USAFSOS) is a school under the 492D Special Operations Wing, which falls under the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). AFSOC is the Air Force component of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

USAFSOS provides education to turn skilled Airmen into Air Commandos, a term used for U.S. Air Force Special Operators. Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) (pronunciation ); is an engineering college in Namburu, Pedakakani, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a capacity of 930 students for undergraduate engineering programs (B.Tech), 120 students in six Master of Technology programs and 60 students in a Master of Computer Applications program. The B.Tech program is offered in six disciplines: civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering and information technology. Postgraduate programs are offered in computer science and engineering, very-large-scale integration, power electronics, machine drawing and structural engineering.

The college was founded in 2007 by Vasireddy Vidya Sagar. It is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

The Urban Transportation Development Corporation Ltd. (UTDC) was a Crown corporation owned by the Government of Ontario, Canada. It was established in the 1970s as a way to enter what was then expected to be a burgeoning market in advanced light rail mass transit systems. UTDC built a respected team of engineers and project managers. It developed significant expertise in linear propulsion, steerable trucks and driverless system controls which were integrated into a transit system known as the Intermediate Capacity Transit System (ICTS). It was designed to provide service at rider levels between a traditional subway on the upper end and buses and streetcars on the lower, filling a niche aimed at suburbs that were otherwise expensive to service.

Initially established as the Air Force (USAF) Security Group in June, 1948, the USAF Security Service (USAFSS) was activated as a major command on Oct 20, 1948 (For redesignations, see Successor units.)

The USAFSS was a secretive branch of the Air Force tasked with monitoring, collecting and interpreting military voice and electronic signals of countries of interest (which often were Soviet and their satellite Eastern bloc countries). USAFSS intelligence was often analyzed in the field, and the results transmitted to the National Security Agency for further analysis and distribution to other intelligence recipients.
