Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (IATA: LBB, ICAO: KLBB, FAA LID: LBB) is five miles north of Lubbock, in Lubbock County, Texas, United States. Originally Lubbock International Airport, it was renamed in 2004 for former Texas governor Preston E. Smith, an alumnus of Texas Tech University.

The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 classifies it as a primary commercial service airport. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 487,000 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2018, and 455,000 in 2017.

The airport is the 8th busiest airport in Texas. Lubbock International is first among the smaller Texas cities (behind both Dallas airports, both Houston airports, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso). Personal Load Carrying Equipment (PLCE) is one of several current tactical webbing systems of the British Armed Forces. The Liberal Democrat Christian Forum (LDCF) is an association within the Liberal Democrats that aims to support Christians within the party, and promote the party to other Christians. Its aim is to encourage and enable Christians in their constructive work in politics, being ‘a voice of Christian faith in the Liberal Democrats, and a voice of Liberal Democracy among Christians.’ LDCF believes that Christians should get involved in politics as a way of living out their faith and caring for the oppressed in society.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is an independent state law enforcement agency of the government of Oklahoma. The OSBI assists the county sheriff offices and city police departments of the state, and is the primary investigative agency of the state government. The Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016 (DTSA) (Pub.L. 114–153 (text) (pdf), 130 Stat. 376, enacted May 11, 2016, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 1836, et seq.) is a United States federal law that allows an owner of a trade secret to sue in federal court when its trade secrets have been misappropriated. The act was signed into law by President Barack Obama on May 11, 2016. It underscored Congress’s desire to align closely with the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, which had been adopted in some form in almost every U.S. state. Technically, the DTSA extended the Economic Espionage Act of 1996, which criminalizes certain trade secret misappropriations.

The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) is the country's mandated law enforcement agency to investigate and prosecute public sector corruption, as well as educate society on understanding and reporting corruption.

It was established by the FICAC Act No 11 of 2007, and began operations in April of the same year.

The Constitution of the Republic of Fiji stipulates that the Commission may investigate, institute and conduct criminal proceedings, take over investigations and criminal proceedings that fall under its responsibility and functions as prescribed by law, and which may have been initiated by another person or authority and discontinue, at any stage before judgment is delivered, criminal proceedings instituted or conducted by it.
