The Institute for Free Speech (IFS), formerly called the Center for Competitive Politics, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formerly headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and now in Washington, D.C.. IFS' mission is to "promote and defend the First Amendment rights to freely speak, assemble, publish, and petition the government through strategic litigation, communication, activism, training, research, and education."

Confederación Campesina del Perú ('Peasants Confederation of Peru', abbreviated CCP) is a farmers' movement in Peru. CCP was founded on April 11, 1947. Its first general secretary was Juan Hipólito Pévez Oliveros, a peasants leader from Ica. Another of its leaders was Hugo Blanco. For a long period CCP was the major peasants organization in the country, and closely linked to Marxist political parties.

By the early 1970s CCP was organizationally weak and played a minor role politically. However, in 1973-1974 the organization was revitalized as poor peasants and agricultural labourers who had not benefitted from the 1969 land reform joined its ranks and reunified the organization. These groups seized began a struggle of land seizures, especially in areas in Huaura, Piara and Huaral. By 1978, CCP had a quarter of a million members.

CCP is a member of the international peasants organization Via Campesina. In 2001, CCP added environmental issues to its political agenda.

The Opportunities Party (usually referred to as TOP) is a centrist political party based in New Zealand. It was founded in 2016 by economist and philanthropist Gareth Morgan. The party is based upon an idea of "evidence-based policy", with policy priorities of "Universal Basic Income (UBI)", "Affordable Housing and Rent", "Smart Small Business", and "Climate Friendly Recovery".

During the 2017 general election, TOP gained 2.4% of the vote and did not win a seat in the House of Representatives.TOP contested the 2020 general election with the party utilising similar but "updated" evidence-based policy. In the election its share of the party vote declined to 1.5%. The party has been led by Shai Navot since the resignation of Geoff Simmons on 3 November 2020.

The Tobago Organisation of the People (TOP) is an autonomist political party in Tobago formed in 2008, a member of the People's Partnership coalition. Its current political leader is Ashworth Jack. The party was formed in 2008 from a split with the Democratic Action Congress.

The TOP contested the 2009 Tobago House of Assembly (THA) election, winning four out of twelve seats, all other seats being taken by the People's National Movement (PNM).

The party won two House of Representatives of Trinidad and Tobago seats in the general election on 24 May 2010: Tobago East (Vernella Alleyne-Toppin) and Tobago West (Dr. Delmon Baker).

On 21 January 2013, the party lost by a landslide against the incumbent PNM THA administration, losing the four seats it had previously held. In the 2015 general elections it lost both Tobago seats to the PNM. In 2017 it is unlikely to contest the Tobago House of Assembly Election and may very well be politically defunct.
