Reservoir Dogs is a 1992 American crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino in his feature-length debut. It stars Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Chris Penn, Steve Buscemi, Lawrence Tierney, Michael Madsen, Tarantino, and Edward Bunker as diamond thieves whose planned heist of a jewelry store goes terribly wrong. The film depicts the events before and after, but not during, the heist. Kirk Baltz, Randy Brooks, and Steven Wright also play supporting roles. It incorporates many motifs that have become Tarantino's hallmarks: violent crime, pop culture references, profanity, and nonlinear storytelling.

The film is regarded as a classic of independent film and a cult film, and was named "Greatest Independent Film of all Time" by Empire. Although controversial at first for its depictions of violence and heavy use of profanity, Reservoir Dogs was generally well received, with the cast being praised by many critics. Despite not being heavily promoted during its theatrical run, the film became a modest success in the United States after grossing $2.8 million against its scant budget. Oxford Classical Texts (OCT), or Scriptorum Classicorum Bibliotheca Oxoniensis, is a series of books published by Oxford University Press. It contains texts of ancient Greek and Latin literature, such as Homer's Odyssey and Virgil's Aeneid, in the original language with a critical apparatus. Works of science and mathematics, such as Euclid's Elements, are generally not represented. Monsters, Inc. is a 2001 American computer-animated monster comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. Featuring the voices of John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, James Coburn, Mary Gibbs and Jennifer Tilly, the film was directed by Pete Docter in his directorial debut, and executive produced by John Lasseter and Andrew Stanton. The film centers on two monsters—James P. "Sulley" Sullivan and his one-eyed partner and best friend Mike Wazowski who is —employed at the titular energy-producing factory Monsters, Inc., which generates power by scaring human children. However, the monster world believes that the children are toxic, and when one sneaks into the factory, that child must be returned home before it is too late.

Docter began developing the film in 1996, and wrote the story with Jill Culton, Jeff Pidgeon and Ralph Eggleston. Stanton wrote the screenplay with screenwriter Daniel Gerson. The characters went through many incarnations over the film's five-year production process. The technical team and animators found new ways to simulate fur and cloth realistically for the film. Randy Newman, who composed the music for Pixar's three prior films, returned to compose for its fourth.

Upon its release on November 2, 2001, Monsters, Inc. received critical acclaim and was a commercial success, grossing over $577 million worldwide to become the third highest-grossing film of 2001. The film won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "If I Didn't Have You" and was nominated for the first Best Animated Feature, but lost to DreamWorks' Shrek, and was also nominated for Best Original Score and Best Sound Editing. Monsters, Inc. saw a 3D re-release in theaters on December 19, 2012. A prequel titled Monsters University, which was directed by Dan Scanlon, was released on June 21, 2013. A television series/sequel titled Monsters at Work premiered on Disney+ on July 7, 2021.

National Radio Television Afghanistan (RTA; Pashto: د افغانستان ملي راډيو تلويزون‎ Da Afġanistan Mīlī Radīo Telvizoon, Persian: رادیو تلویزیون ملی افغانستان‎ Rādīo Telvizoon-e Mīlī-e Afġānestān, branded as ملی (meaning national)) is the public-broadcasting organization of Afghanistan, based in Kabul. This governmental organ has a national television station (Afghanistan National Television) and a radio station (Radio Afghanistan) as well as news media. Pure Prairie League is an American country rock band whose origins go back to 1965 and Waverly, Ohio, with singer and guitarist Craig Fuller, drummer Tom McGrail, guitarist and drummer Jim Caughlan and steel guitarist John David Call. Fuller started the band in 1970 and McGrail named it after a fictional 19th century temperance union featured in the 1939 Errol Flynn cowboy film Dodge City. In 1975 the band scored its biggest hit with the single "Amie", a track that originally appeared on their 1972 album Bustin' Out. Pure Prairie League scored five consecutive Top 40 LPs in the 1970s and added a sixth in the 1980s. They disbanded in 1988 but regrouped in 1998 and continue to perform as of 2021. The line-up has been fluid over the years, with no one member having served over the band's entire history. The band's most recent line-up consists of Call, long-time bassist Michael Reilly, guitarists Donnie Lee Clark and Randy Harper and drummer Scott Thompson. Among the other notable past musicians to have played with Pure Prairie League include guitarists Vince Gill, Gary Burr and Curtis Wright.

Inishowen Community Radio (ICR FM) was a local radio station broadcasting on the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal in Ireland. The station was one of three in the county.

The station was initially granted a five-year licence which was renewed in September 2007 by the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland for an additional ten years. ICR was based in Carndonagh and employed four full-time staff as well as six part-time in addition to unpaid volunteers. The station broadcast seven days a week and under the terms of its licence consisted of 50% music and 50% talk, and like most community and local stations covered a wide range of music including dance, traditional and classical along with its own news team.

ICR's main competitor was the local commercial station Highland Radio, which is based in Letterkenny and broadcasts throughout the north of the county.

ICR FM stopped broadcasting on 17 October 2012 at 11.15am. However, Inishowen Live launched in 2013 with many of ICR's presenters.

The Dave, Emily, and Chainsaw Show, formerly The Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw Show (DSC), and known simply as Dave, Emily and Chainsaw, is a long-running morning radio show in the San Diego, California area. Broadcast on weekday mornings on San Diego's famous KGB-FM, the show is named for its three main hosts, Denver Dave Rickards; Emily Maguire; and Cookie "Chainsaw" Randolph, known as the "Dean of American Sportscasters". The show originated in 1990 with Shelly Dunn as a member of the trio; she retired from broadcasting in July 2018 and was replaced by Maguire, the show's then-producer.

The format of the show combines humor, parodies, news and skits. The show's bawdy humor and irreverent attitude, described as "raucous and often hilarious", has sometimes sparked controversy. That said, the show is marketed as "San Diego's most dependably hilarious morning radio show".

Scandinavian Weekend Radio (SWR) is a shortwave and medium wave radio station in Virrat, Finland, established in 2000. It broadcasts for 24 hours on the first Saturday of every month and on Christmas Day. It is the only shortwave and medium wave radio station in Finland.

The station is run by volunteers of which many are amateur radio operators, DXers and former pirate radio operators. Funding comes from membership fees of the voluntary association and PR product sales. Even though SWR is a commercial station, there are just a few advertisers.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is a 2009 American military science fiction action film based on the toy franchise created by Hasbro, with particular inspiration from the comic book series and toy line G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. It is the first installment in the live-action G.I. Joe film series. The film was directed by Stephen Sommers. G.I. Joe features an ensemble cast based on the various characters of the franchise. The story follows two American soldiers, Duke and Ripcord, who join the G.I. Joe Team after being attacked by Military Armaments Research Syndicate (M.A.R.S.) troops.

Internet Archaeology is an academic journal and one of the first fully peer-reviewed electronic journals covering archaeology. It was established in 1996. The journal was part of the eLIb project's electronic journals. The journal is produced and hosted at the Department of Archaeology at the University of York and published by the Council for British Archaeology. The journal has won several awards for its creative exemplars of linked e-publications and archives.
