Essel Group (alternatively referred to as the Zee Group) is an Indian conglomerate holding company and corporate promoter headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The company has had business interests in mass media, infrastructure and packaging. It operates the subsidiary of Zee Media Corporation.

The group has been reported to be encumbered with severe debt; a Businessworld article described the company as debt-ridden. As a result, it has conducted several assets sale including the sale of Essel Propack and stake sales of Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Founded in 1926 as the Messrs Ramgopal Indraprasad by Jagannath Goenka, the company was expanded and converted into the Essel Group of Industries by his grandson, Subhash Chandra. Chandra is part of the Goenka (Goel) family which owns and operates the group; he is also the chairman of the company and a Bharatiya Janata Party-backed member of the Rajya Sabha.

V-Guard Industries Ltd is a major electrical appliances manufacturer in India, and the largest in the state of Kerala with an annual turnover of ₹23.21 billion (US$340 million) in financial year 2017–18. The company manufactures voltage stabilizers, electrical cable, electric pumps, electric motors, geysers, solar water heaters, electric fans and UPSs. It was founded in 1977 by Kochouseph Chittilappilly as a small voltage stabilizer manufacturing unit.

Kochouseph Chittilappilly also founded other establishments held as subsidiaries such as V Star Creations, an Indian manufacturer of innerwear for men, women, and children, and Wonderla, a chain of amusement parks in South India.

Vijaya Bank was a PSU Bank Which is Merged with Bank of Baroda in April 2020 with its head office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It was one of the nationalised banks in India. The bank offered a wide range of financial products and services to customers through its various delivery channels. The bank had a network of 2031 branches (as of March 2017) throughout the country and over 4000 customer touch points including 2001 ATMs.

On 17 September 2018, the Government of India proposed the merger of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank with the Bank of Baroda, pending approval from the boards of the three banks. The merger was approved by the Union Cabinet and the boards of the banks on 2 January 2019. Under the terms of the merger, Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank shareholders received 110 and 402 equity shares of the Bank of Baroda, respectively, of face value ₹2 for every 1,000 shares they held. The merger is effective from 1 April 2019. Vijaya Bank that has merged with Bank of Baroda has built a museum that dedicates to its history.
