The Australian Defence Force Investigative Service (ADFIS) was the unified investigative arm of the Australian Defence Force's service police, from 2007 until its amalgamation into the Joint Military Police Force at the beginning of 2020. ADFIS was responsible for complex and major disciplinary and criminal investigations involving the Australian Defence Force (ADF), its assets, land, personnel and capability.

ADFIS was a tri-service unit that was manned by specialised service police personnel who qualified to undertake investigations of serious and unique nature. As the successor to the previously active single-service police investigation units of which it absorbed, it was manned by approximately 150 investigators from the Royal Australian Navy's Naval Police, Australian Army's Military Police and the Royal Australian Air Force's Air Force Police.

The Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT), located near Pune, Junnar, near Narayangaon at khodad in India, is an array of thirty fully steerable parabolic radio telescopes of 45 metre diameter, observing at metre wavelengths. It is operated by the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA), a part of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. It was conceived and built under the direction of Late Prof. Govind Swarup during 1984 to 1996. It is an interferometric array with baselines of up to 25 kilometres (16 mi). It was recently upgraded with new receivers, after which it is also known as the Upgraded Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (uGMRT).

The Boot Hill and Western Railway (abbreviated to BHWY), is a railway between Dodge City and Wilroads in Kansas owned by the Boot Hill and Western Railway Company. It consists of a single track section, about 42 kilometers long. It mainly transported agricultural products and had two interchanges, one with the BNSF Railway and another with the Cimarron Valley Railroad. The railway was given an exemption notice in 2005. Transport between Bucklin and Wilroads stopped in Autumn 2005 due to a lack of traffic, it has only operated eight trains since September 2000. The Boot Hill and Western Railway Company acquired part ownership of the track in September 2000 from the previous owner, the Dodge City Ford and Bucklin Railroad Company. It previously had a role in the interconnection with the Bucklin Union Pacific Railroad.

Banjul (UK: , US: ), officially the City of Banjul, is the capital and fourth largest city of The Gambia. A native or inhabitant of Galloway is called a Gallovidian. The place name Galloway is derived from the Gaelic i nGall Gaidhealaib ("amongst the Gall Gaidheil").
