The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) is an independent departmental corporation under Schedule II of the Financial Administration Act and is accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Labour.

CCOHS functions as the primary national agency in Canada for the advancement of safe and healthy workplaces and preventing work-related injuries, illnesses and deaths. Additional work in this area is carried out by provincial and territorial labour departments and workers' compensation

CCOHS was created in 1978 by an Act of Parliament - Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety Act S.C., 1977-78, c. 29. The act was based on the belief that all Canadians had "…a fundamental right to a healthy and safe working environment." .

The centre, located in Hamilton, Ontario, is governed by a tripartite Council of Governors representing government (federal, provincial and territorial), employers, and workers.

CCOHS promotes the total well-being—physical, psychosocial and mental health—of working Canadians by providing information, training, education, management systems and solutions. Atlántida (Spanish pronunciation: [aˈtlantiða]) is a department located on the north Caribbean shore of Honduras, Central America. The capital is the port city of La Ceiba.

In the past few decades, tourism has become the most important legitimate economic source for the coastal area. In 2005 it had an estimated population of about 372,532 people. The department covers a total surface area of 4,251 km².

Choluteca is a municipality and the capital city of the Honduran department of the same name. The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center (CCJDC) is a youth detention center located in Cleveland, Ohio. It is accredited by the American Correctional Association Commission on Accreditation for Corrections. Its average daily population in 2007 was 163 residents, a condition which was described as overcrowded.

CCJDC is the oldest detention center for youths in the United States. It was designed by the Frank W. Bail Co. and opened in December 1931. It was considered a national and international model of court services for children. It is located on the corner of East 22nd Street and Central Avenue in downtown Cleveland. A new nine-story juvenile justice center on Quincy Avenue at East 93rd Street was constructed and opened in 2011. At that time the CCJDC building will be considered surplus by the county.
