1) BTC: Bitcoin

The full form of BTC is “Bitcoin“. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, a form of electronic cash created in January 2009. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries. Transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. There are no physical bitcoins, only balances kept on a public ledger in the cloud.

Bitcoin pioneers wanted to put the seller in charge, eliminate the middleman, cancel interest fees, and make transactions transparent, to hack corruption and cut fees. Bitcoin was invented in 2008 by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto and started in 2009 when its source code was released as open-source software. 1 Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services.

2) BTC: Basic Training Certificate

Another full form of BTC is Basic Training Certificate. BTC is a Certificate level Educational course recognised by NCTE, Govt. of India. The course duration is two years. The course is good for those applying for assistant teachers’ jobs. It is a necessary certificate for the appointment of primary teachers in government primary schools. After completing the course candidates can work as primary teacher in government schools. Basically, in every state, there are institutions which are offering BTC.

• Students should be a graduate pass or its equivalent with minimum 50%.
• Admissions is conducted according to the rules and procedures formed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state governments concerned.
