Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are the high-affinity cell surface receptors for many polypeptide growth factors, cytokines, and hormones. Student Loan Xpress (SLX) is a member company of New York-based CIT Group Inc.. SLX became a wholly owned subsidiary of CIT Group, Inc in 2005. They ceased originating loans on April 3, 2008.
