What is the full form of HSC?

The full form of HSC is Higher Secondary Certificate. It is also known as HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate). It is a public exam taken by the students of Intermediate College. In India, the HSC exam or 12th exam or Inter exam is conducted by CBSE at the central level by the state board of education and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) at the state level. CBSE conducts it once in a year; NIOS gives the option of on-demand examinations in public examinations twice a year.

Gujarat, Kerala, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Goa are the Indian states which have different HSC exam structure from board to board such as UP Board, MP Board, Maharashtra Board, Bihar Board, CBSE Board, ISC Board etc. After completion of this course students get certificate with grade or percentage as per their performance in examination.

After completing matriculation or SSC, students are admitted to Higher Secondary Examination. Higher Secondary Examination is divided into two categories:
